Discover the beautiful North Coast region of Port Stephens, a
diverse blue water paradise of pristine waterways, golden sandy beaches,
eco-diverse marina, and National Parks. Nature is at the centre of all that is
Port Stephens and is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Sydney.
Crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge and touring through the leafy
and affluent northern suburbs of Sydney, we travel over the Hawkesbury River, a
holiday hub for boat lovers, and make our way to Stockton Beach, home to the
biggest sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere. Once at Stockton beach you can
jump on board a custom 4WD vehicle to find and ride the biggest dunes for
sandboarding (own expense $20). Though you may prefer to try camel riding (own
expense $15) or just chill on the beach.
The next stop is Nelson Bay, where we will have approximately 1
hour for lunch (own expense) before joining a dolphin watching cruise to watch
pods of bottlenose dolphins as they play in the waves of the bow. Once returned
to the Marina, we will board the bus for return transfer back to Sydney.
